A.field Book Talk at the University of Calgary

A.field Co-Directors Kai Wood Mah and Patrick Lynn Rivers gave an invited book talk at the University of Calgary's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape today. The talk provided a broad overview of Mah and Rivers's in press book SITUATED PRACTICES IN ARCHITECTURE AND POLITICS as well as more focused attention to a chapter in the book on the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, Ethiopia, which brings together concerns about historic preservation, international development, geology, and affect amongst other variables shaping this project.
