The Universities Art Association of Canada (UAAC/AAUC)

Kai Wood Mah shared two performance-driven projects today as a conference presentation at the Universities Art Association of Canada Annual Meeting in Banff, Alberta. In Both projects, Kai used the body's affect, muscular memory, and performance potential as a vessel to explore colonial undoing in contemporary design practice. While both projects wrestle with the sites and archives of colonial debris and the built environment, the two works resulted in a repertoire of movements for the present.
